Late Jan Loots

Hell Yeah, Finnaly got MG freedom, and the clear part special too. Some Bionicles too.

:Mouth watering: I cant wait to build this guy^^

WTF, chibi again, ONERO LEGO!!!

Ah it pisses me of that LEGO decides to kill off a good toyline and my early childhood toys. This is like having Jap stoping export of Plamo all over the world(well most of the world).

Oh those bionicles sure look articulated. Somehow I think the will make excellent frames for scratchbuild projects :D They are killing off this line of lego??

>> Chubbybots: there articulation aint so bad, almost FG like. And sadly 2010 is there last year!T_T

>> Astray: You got to gattai three of them, damn, I only had two once. I think designs were sacrificed for better articulation.

Wow I had no idea Bionicle was ending this year. Guess I'd better pick up a few for my son before they become ebay exclusive.

Hmmm... this line is being killed off? I had no idea... ==; Lego is also my childhood toy... ^^;

So you finally bought MG Freedom, I'm still hesitating, for no proper reasons... xD

Congrats on your new loot!

It is always fun and excited when we see new figure in front of us... but it sure takes quite some time to build them... I'm not into clear parts since I prefer to paint them =D

>> Persocom-san: Get them before there gone, I suggest getting the black and yellow dudes.

>> EXkurogane: Reason why you should get it. Really Blue wings, and clear parts^^;

>> Divinelight: My cousin already has SF and I dont like the dragoons and the lack of blue tones in the new Freedom.

>> B-Mecha: My first MG took me 2 and half hours to build, since I didnt prep the parts, this time I'm doing it "Z" style^^

@divinelight
MG SF's Dragoons are too plain to reduce back-heavy issue (it is already backheavy), but the gear in the wings gives me the creeps that I'll break it someday. However, the good thing about the gears is that the wings won't sag easily due to weight. giving you the loose feel. I disabled them though and tightened the joints myself by filling in a coating.

>> EXkurogane: seen the wing gears, they do reduce the sagging a bit, but in time, the gears becomes obsolote.

WTF BIONICLES LINE ARE ENDING? Gaaah I must get some now...too bad the quality is getting slightly worse with each line...

Man...I can still remember my first one: Onua. The very-very-very-very first one, with claws. And also the Turaga, which I conveniently forgot who, the one with the drill staff.

The white one looks almost like an SD-fied ver of Takanuva. And don't tel me that that's what it is.

>> Dennis: The clear parts campaign is sale items, best part is, old MGs et to be stocked upon shelves again.

>> Shion: Heheh I would have gotten Onua, I got Lewa and Gali instead, since I want gattai. Do you recall anyone else wearing the mask of light beside takua, nope, just takanuva himself, and yes thats him, chibified once more.

@Gunstray

Yeah, because the gears will eventually wear out, I disabled them myself by removing them... xD I just hoped the parts for the gear were diecast (Bandai should have realised the gear is not strong)... If I'm not mistaken only 4 small pieces are needed... ==; MG Nu ha diecast pieces in the crotch to strengthen it aftre all...

Gunstray said...

>> EXkurogane: Seen the die cast by dalongs review, though it was either bandai's cheapness, or that diecast part may break SF's internal color scheme. and Im sure we cant have a gold diecast.

Wasn't Takanuva Gold? Why the change to white?

Ahh, who cares. I like silver better than gold, anyways.
